First Place Win for Mimeo.com at 2011 Publishing Exchange Conference

Mimeo.com Wins Inaugural Award for Business Transformation Initiatives

New York (March 30, 2011) – New York – Mimeo.com, the leading online printing and distribution company, today announced that is has been selected as the winner of the 2011 Business Transformation Award. The annual award honors innovative firms in the commercial printing, publishing, in-plant, and digital communications services markets that have recently transformed their businesses to better serve their customers, the industry, their community, or their corporate interests. This year’s winners were chosen by a team of eight industry judges, working independently, to score each nomination.  The award was presented at a ceremony that was held on March 23 in conjunction with the ON DEMAND 2011 Exposition and the Publishing Xchange Conference.

Mimeo.com was recognized for the transformation from a closed system to an open platform that enables customers and partners to utilize any part of the Mimeo.com network.  This includes fully customizable customer interfaces, the Marketplace self publishing solution, online variable data capabilities, wholesale print support and the ability to integrate print into any website or intranet.
