Mimeo Wins Top Print Industry Award

Mimeo cloud-based software solutions win Print Industries of America "Best in Show" Award 3 Consecutive Years

New York, NY - Mimeo, the leading online printing and distribution solutions company, announced today that the Printing Industries of America and Digital Printing Council have awarded the company two top honors at the "Web2Awards"; "Best in Show" and "Best website" in the over $18 million category.

Awards were based on scores received from an expert panel of five independent judges which consisted of educators, designers, web/e-commerce experts, marketers, and industry consultants. Six categories were used to evaluate over 30 different "print-centric" websites. Judging criteria included overall design, structure and navigation, content, technology, ease of use, and innovation.

"We saw a great deal of creativity and technical sophistication in this year's entries." said Julie Shaffer, Vice President Digital Technologies for the Printing Industries of America. "The fact that Mimeo has achieved the highest score three years in a row attests to their ability to embrace emerging technologies to deliver an outstanding online customer experience."

The "Web2Award" win was for the Mimeo Express Checkout, an innovation that reduces customer "checkout" time by half, and that consolidates 11 distinct steps into one. Past Mimeo wins include recognition for Mimeo Marketplace, the company's e-commerce solution, and for Mimeo document building and finishing tools that enable customers to add finishing options and proof documents using their web browser.
