How does Mimeo prevent document waste?

Every Mimeo Print order is unique, produced on-demand through a defined production process. Mimeo’s production facilities work in combination with on-demand orders, by only producing orders in the quantity needed at the time needed. This helps us to eliminate the need for inventory, and reduce document waste.

What happens to my documents in the event of a power outage at a Mimeo production facility?

Mimeo has an uninterruptable power supply in place at all of our production facilities. In the event of power failure caused by outages or inclement weather, Mimeo’s production facilities automatically ensure continuous operation and full security implementation.

Who at Mimeo has access to my content, documents and files?

Employees are granted access only to those tools required to complete the tasks assigned to them. The Mimeo production process is managed by computerised systems that govern all access control and task allocation to fully prevent any unnecessary access.

More information on our physical security safeguards and initiatives can be found here.

What steps does Mimeo take to digitally secure my file uploads?

Each time a file is uploaded to Mimeo, a unique certificate is automatically assigned to the user. The file can only be decrypted by Mimeo during the transfer of this data. A secure protocol (HTTPS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is utilised within all of Mimeo’s platforms.

More information on our digital security safeguards and initiatives can be found here.

How is version control maintained for my content files?

Mimeo not only enables sites to have their own file repository, it also provides users with a robust content library. This includes the ability to securely store, save, and share documents through their individual content libraries. Additional sharing permissions can be set for documents, such as read-only, customised or full control. Our customers often organise their libraries, allowing access to the most current folders of their content. Outdated content can be removed or archived, organisation wide from a single account, eliminating any room for error in terms of version control.

How are the documents in my library secured?

All customer data is stored on Mimeo owned, redundant, fully protected data centres. All cloud based terminology refers to Mimeo’s own internal cloud. None of our customer data is hosted on third party servers.

How can I contact customer support?

Does Mimeo produce and distribute non-print items?

Yes. We work with a network of trusted partners to produce non-paper items. We can store these items and other items that you want to add to your order in our own warehouses. All warehoused items can be bundled, kitted, and shipped together with your documents.

Additionally, Mimeo offers 1, 2 & 5-day CD and DVD duplication and 8-day CD & DVD replication services. Disc duplication refers to burning content on pre-manufactured blank CD-Rs or DVD-Rs. CD and DVD duplication is ideal for short run disc production or when you need discs very quickly.

How many shoppers can I add to my Marketplace account?

The number of shoppers is controlled by the Administrator. This can be a small defined group, or to the public. There is no limit to the number of shoppers.

Can I designate administrators on my Mimeo Marketplace account?

Yes. You can have one or multiple administrators. You can provide full level administration and secondary level administration. The permissions set in place by the administrator(s) will dictate the features shoppers have enabled and content access when using Marketplace.

What can I do as an administrator?

Administrators have the ability to set permissions for those accessing your content. You can specify who can share what and limit who cannot.

Full level administrators can change Marketplace settings. Account credit, order specifications, and even documents can be enabled or disabled on specific accounts by these administrators. Secondary administrators can publish content.

What type of ordering permissions do you have in place?

Sharing permissions can be set for documents, such as read-only, customise, or full control. The permissions exist for administrators of Mimeo Marketplace, as well as any content in a user’s Mimeo account library.

In addition to multiple levels of site permissions on Mimeo Marketplace, order approvals, access requests, and budget controls are also utilised by customers with multiple shoppers, at no additional cost. Order limits, shipping methods, and document number limits can be set by administrators for specific or all shoppers.

Can I customise the fields available for my shoppers’ orders?

You can place up to 4 custom fields into a Marketplace order. This data will feed into invoicing and reporting features, and can provide additional information to help catalogue orders and track material usage.

Does Mimeo Marketplace have any form of account credit?

Account credit can be set up to auto “top-up” at a time period specified by your administrator(s).

What type of reporting does Mimeo provide?

Mimeo’s robust reporting features can provide insight on how content requests contribute to lead generation tracking. With Marketplace, an administrator can view which document is ordered, provide recipient information, as well as what is contained in that specific order. With Mimeo you can alter messaging and modify materials based on your reporting requirements.

I need custom reports. Can I create custom reports with Marketplace?

Yes. For customers that require more detailed information, ad hoc or monthly billing reports are available and customisable.

Can we set up a customised Marketplace account?

Mimeo Marketplace enables customers to create a completely custom, branded storefront for its shoppers. Additionally, Mimeo Marketplace can be white labelled at an additional cost, meaning that all Mimeo branding is removed, and the platform appears to be integrated with your own internal portals or platforms.

Marketplace is fully customisable through setting permissions, building a content library and an address book.
