Largest Graphic Arts Trade Association Again Awards Mimeo “Best in Show”
Mimeo, the leading online printing and distribution solutions company, announced today that the Printing Industries of America and the Digital Printing Council have awarded the company “Best in Show” for improvements made to the company’s customer facing web-to-print solution interface. The web2awards is the only annual award competition that names the best websites in the print industry. For this year’s entry, Mimeo showcased new features such as navigation that makes it even more convenient to perform frequent tasks and changes that provide easier access to product information. The award was granted to Mimeo by a panel of 5 judges who scored the site highest on criteria such as aesthetics, workflow and effectiveness.
“Technology must be easy to use and provide value to our customers. Part of Mimeo’s DNA is to continuously improve the customer experience through the innovative use of technology and design,” said Mimeo’s Chief Executive Officer, Adam Slutsky. “Receiving the top award for four years in a row further affirms our success in doing this year after year. Our ease of use is one reason why our users report an average time savings of 40% over how they previously procured print.”
“Winning four years in a row is a true testament to the Mimeo team,” said Julie Shaffer, Vice President Digital Technologies for the Printing Industries of America. “Every year they impress the judges with their commitment to innovation and website improvement.”
“Last year, we were pleased with our hat trick” said Charlie Corr, Mimeo’s Vice President of Corporate Strategy. “This year, with our fourth straight win, we have a Super Hat Trick. It affirms our commitment to continuous improvement and customer delight.”
The web2awards will be presented at the 2012 Premier Awards Gala scheduled for Sunday, October 7 in Chicago. For more information visit the Mimeo.co.uk website. More on the web2awards can be found at printing.org.
